| To simply put it, plasma cutting is a process that uses a very high velocity jet of ionized gas which is delivered from the orifice of the constricting tip. The high velocity ionized gas or also referred to as plasma, conducts large amounts of electricity from the torch onto your workpiece, melting the material while mechanically blowing the molten metal away and creating a severance cut. |
